Here is an alternative, if that hotel should fill. There is another Best Value Inn located at Hwy 249 and Grant Rd (one exit north of 1960). It's a good location as well. In the past they have honored the same rate as the block of rooms above.

Sarah,
I have info about the Holiday Inn Express on 3555 FM 1960 West, Houston
77068. There is a block of 10 rooms for 59 + tax for 2 beds or 1
King.
They have a pretty full breakfast including biscuits, eggs, gravy, granola,
yogurt, sweet rolls, cereal and fruit. The cut off date for the State
tournament is Feb. 28.
I also went ahead and got a block of 20 room for Regionals for the same
deal. Cut off date will be April 17.
